ONE Digital Tech Graduates into Business Programme
Opportunity North East is leading and delivering a programme to support Digital Tech SME businesses to accelerate their growth by recruiting and developing recent graduates.
The programme enables businesses to offer 10 recent graduates a 12-month cohort-based supported employment and skills development experience across general business skills and role-specific training.
The programme includes:
- A programme of cohort-based workshops for the graduates to develop general business skills
- Individual mentoring and coaching sessions for graduates
- Additional job-specific training for graduates with funding support from ONE to cover course costs
- Opportunities for graduates to meet, socialise and network with previous digital tech graduates into business
- Six-months of free hot desking space at ONE Tech Hub if the business operates on a work-from-home basis or requires a larger office space. This also offers businesses who operate in Aberdeenshire, the opportunity to hire graduates who may not have the capability to commute
To qualify for the programme, businesses will:
- Operate in the digital tech sector and be registered and based in north east Scotland (AB postcode area)
- Be SMEs that do not usually hire recent graduates
- Be interested in hiring a recent tech graduate employee (2021-23 graduation) – undergraduate or postgraduate
- Be at a critical stage in development and be able to demonstrate how a graduate resource will help to unlock potential and contribute to growth
Registrations are now closed, 2023/24 programme is currently underway.
