Food Tourism | ONE

North east Scotland has many signature food and drink products which can spark interest in our region, its produce and traditions. Food and drink experiences often also support premium products and can be combined effectively with other activities such as business events, golf and touring.

The Opportunity North East (ONE) food and drink tourism programme is supported by LEADER funding and delivered through close partnership working with VisitAberdeenshire. It aims to develop experiences surrounding food production, preparation and service in order to help visitors understand and enjoy our food and drink as a memorable part of their visit.

The goal is to attract more visitors to the region to enjoy authentic food production experiences, showcase the region's excellence in food and drink products, and increase spend.

It will also drive the use of local food and drink in the region's tourism and hospitality sectors.
