Food, Drink and Agriculture Graduates into Business | ONE

The programme enables food and drink manufacturers and producers to offer recent graduates a 12-month cohort-based supported employment and development experience covering general business and role-specific skills.

The programme includes:

• 50% funding for the first year of the graduate’s salary, up to the value of £10,000
• Cohort-based workshops for the graduates to develop general business skills
• Additional job-specific training with funding from ONE towards training costs
• Opportunities for graduates to meet, socialise and network with previous food and drink industry graduates into business

To qualify for the programme, businesses will:

• Operate in the food and drink sector and be registered and based in north east Scotland (AB postcode area)
• Be SMEs that do not usually hire recent graduates
• Be interested in employing a recent graduate (2021 to 23 graduation) – undergraduate or postgraduate
• Be at a critical stage in development and be able to demonstrate how a graduate resource will help to unlock potential and contribute to growth
