Opportunity North East (ONE) is driving the translation of research and innovative ideas into investable business propositions by stimulating an entrepreneurial culture alongside quality academic research.
We work with the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and NHS Grampian to deliver commercialisation taster sessions and early-stage business workshops and bootcamps for academics, researchers, clinicians and others with life sciences business ideas.
The activity stimulates an entrepreneurial mindset and identifies business opportunities in the life sciences community for development, testing and challenging for potential application and future commercial opportunities.
The ONE Life Sciences Leadership Forum, set up in 2021, brings businesses and other commercial interests in the region together to focus on collaborative innovation and accelerated growth to develop the leadership capability within the company cluster.
