NECCUS launches new website

NECCUS, the North East Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage Alliance, has launched a new website that outlines the roadmap to decarbonise Scotland’s industrial sector. Established in November 2019, NECCUS supports, promotes and advocates the accelerated deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) technologies in Scotland and the further development of the Scottish supply chain to meet the demands of this new sector.

ONE supported the formation of NECCUS as one of the initial co-founders along with Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Government. CCUS is a key activity and growth opportunity that underpins ONE’s aims to establish the region as a centre for integrated energy transition, delivering a range of net zero projects and growing the region’s energy supply chain for the long term while also supporting decarbonising oil and gas activities.
