With the pace of digital adoption accelerating rapidly in recent months the digital tech sector is predicted to be one of the fastest growing in Scotland, creating foundations for new growth and opportunities.
ONE Digital & Entrepreneurship’s business growth and recovery programme encourages digital tech business owners and leaders to plan effectively and confidently for economic recovery and growth.
A combination of workshops, one to ones, team sessions and mentoring will provide participants with a toolkit to develop robust business models, compelling value propositions and growth strategies to take their business forward in new and existing markets and geographies whilst continuing to enhance our collaborative digital community.
The programme is supported by two private sector partners, Inoapps and Sword ITS who will be actively involved providing leadership engagement, mentoring and case studies of their growth journey.
Andy Bird, CEO at Inoapps and ONE Digital & Entrepreneurship Board member said: “We’re excited to be partnering with ONE on this programme which comes at a critical time for businesses as they reset and plan effectively for the future.
“Whilst the participants and their companies are already successful in their digital fields, the programme allows them to step back and explore new ideas and opportunities by working together and engaging with other experienced entrepreneurs who have been through this journey.”
The first cohort kicked off in early December with a session on Strategy. Jim Rae, CEO of Docs24, shared his experience of growing a global digital business that has doubled in size every year since 2007 and anticipates growth of 1200% in 2021. Jim is the first of a range of experts who will discuss and share the highs and lows of scaling up their businesses, as we support and challenge our cohort with the development of their own high growth strategy.
Jaye Deighton, Director at Core29, said: “We’re delighted to be part of this exciting initiative to grow and support the technology community within the North East. We look forward to working with likeminded businesses to share best practice, insight and learn from one another.”
