In September 2020, Opportunity North East (ONE) delivered the fourth in its series of webinars to help food and drink businesses reset and plan effectively for the future, looking at how UK consumer behaviours are changing six months after the first nationwide lockdown began.
Levercliff’s Scottish based director, David Craig, gave north east food and drink producers first access to the results of the firm’s fourth COVID-19 consumer tracking survey.
With lockdown restrictions evolving and people’s lives adjusting, the survey results revealed what is now essential to consumers. Crucially, it provided insights that will help companies understand which of the habits and trends that developed during lockdown consumers are likely to stick with and where opportunities could exist for suppliers.
David also updated us on what Levercliff’s "Lockdown Households" are doing, helping the sector understand how the needs of different consumer groups are evolving.
A link to a recording of the webinar and a downloadable copy of David's presentation are provided below.
The webinar was aimed at food and drink manufacturing and processing businesses based in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray and was delivered via the North East Scotland Food & Drink Network, organised by ONE in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council.
