ONE Tech Hub to support game changing tech scaler activity

Tech Scaler, led and operated by CodeBase will transform and scale the support available for tech startups inspiring a new generation of tech entrepreneurs across Scotland. The investment will create a uniform approach to support tech startup founders delivered through seven hubs across Scotland including one based in ONE Tech Hub, Aberdeen.

Commenting on the news, Jennifer Craw, Opportunity North East said: “It’s great to see this game changing programme move forward to deliver on the recommendations of the Logan Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review and the ambition to drive entrepreneurship and establish Scotland as one of Europe’s leading start-up economies.”

“Opportunity North East has worked closely with CodeBase since 2018, building a successful and complementary partnership, that has proved to be relevant, highly effective and scalable. Since January 2022 more than 50 aspiring tech founders have taken part in educational programmes for startups delivered by ONE and CodeBase, demonstrating the level of ambition and talent pool of aspiring and early stage founders in the region.”
